This Privacy Policy explains how GrowLog handles information.

1. About GrowLog

GrowLog is an app for documenting plant growth and plant-related events such as germination, fertilization, pest observations, notes, dates, and photos.

2. Data processed by the app

GrowLog processes information entered or created by the user to provide its core functionality, including:

• Plant names, strain names, and descriptions
• Care notes and event entries
• Timers and reminders
• Photos taken with the camera or selected from the device gallery

3. Local Storage and Data Control

All data entered into GrowLog is stored locally on your device. The developer does not have access to your data and does not store it on any external servers.

4. Camera and Gallery Access

GrowLog uses the following features to allow documentation with photos:

• Camera: Requested only when you take a photo within the app.
• Gallery (Photo Picker): GrowLog uses the secure Android Photo Picker. This allows you to select specific photos from your gallery without giving the app access to your entire photo library.

Selected photos are compressed and copied to the app's internal storage to ensure they remain available within the app.

5. Optional Google Drive Backup

GrowLog offers an optional backup feature. If you manually choose to enable "Google Drive Backup" or perform a manual export, your data (including photos) will be uploaded to your personal Google Drive account or saved to a location of your choice. This process is managed by your Google account and is not accessible to the developer.

6. No Analytics or Advertising

GrowLog does not use any analytics services, tracking tools, advertising SDKs, or third-party marketing services.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by removing entries within the app or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app will delete all locally stored data, including your plant profiles and event photos.

Diese Datenschutzerklärung erläutert, wie GrowLog mit Informationen umgeht.

1. Über GrowLog

GrowLog ist eine App zur Dokumentation von Pflanzenentwicklung und pflanzenbezogenen Ereignissen wie Keimung, Düngung, Schädlingsbeobachtungen, Notizen, Datumsangaben und Fotos.

2. Welche Daten in der App verarbeitet werden

GrowLog verarbeitet vom Nutzer eingegebene oder erzeugte Informationen, um die Funktionen der App bereitzustellen:

• Pflanzennamen, Sortennamen und Beschreibungen
• Pflegenotizen und Ereigniseinträge
• Timer und Erinnerungen
• Fotos, die mit der Kamera aufgenommen oder aus der Galerie ausgewählt werden

3. Lokale Speicherung und Datenkontrolle

Alle in GrowLog eingegebenen Daten werden lokal auf Ihrem Gerät gespeichert. Der Entwickler hat keinen Zugriff auf Ihre Daten und speichert diese nicht auf externen Servern.

4. Zugriff auf Kamera und Galerie

GrowLog nutzt folgende Funktionen, um die Dokumentation mit Fotos zu ermöglichen:

• Kamera: Wird nur angefordert, wenn Sie direkt in der App ein Foto aufnehmen.
• Galerie (Photo Picker): GrowLog nutzt den sicheren Android Photo Picker. Dies ermöglicht es Ihnen, gezielt Fotos aus Ihrer Galerie auszuwählen, ohne der App Zugriff auf Ihre gesamte Fotobibliothek zu gewähren.

Ausgewählte Fotos werden lokal komprimiert und in den internen Speicher der App kopiert, um die dauerhafte Anzeige innerhalb der App zu gewährleisten.

5. Optionales Google Drive Backup

GrowLog bietet eine optionale Backup-Funktion an. Wenn Sie das "Google Drive Backup" manuell aktivieren oder einen manuellen Export durchführen, werden Ihre Daten (einschließlich Fotos) in Ihr persönliches Google Drive-Konto hochgeladen oder an einem Ort Ihrer Wahl gespeichert. Dieser Vorgang wird über Ihr Google-Konto abgewickelt und ist für den Entwickler nicht einsehbar.

6. Keine Analyse- oder Werbedienste

GrowLog verwendet keine Analyse-Dienste, Tracking-Tools, Werbe-SDKs oder Marketingdienste von Drittanbietern.

7. Löschung von Daten

Sie können Ihre Daten jederzeit löschen, indem Sie Einträge in der App entfernen oder die App deinstallieren. Durch die Deinstallation der App werden alle lokal gespeicherten Daten, einschließlich Ihrer Pflanzenprofile und Event-Fotos, gelöscht.
